  LEASE PERIOD - 12 months' lease Usually as long as 1 year lease required for long term lease agreement. However, shorter lease period indicated in classified ads when available. Also, fixed lease agreement available only when date of moving in/out set in advance. Due to termination during lease period, stirct consequences like losing security need to be taken account when lease agreement is finalised.  Lease agreement is available in both English and Hungarian.

RENT & UTILITIES - Fixed in HUF and payable on monthly basis 'Go to' contact for all questions and anything you may need whether you are a local or expatriates in Budapest. Communication with tenants are on line based. BPartner receives and sends emails mostly to Tenants including financial statements. If it is not declared otherwise, both rent and utilitis are payable in HUF. Rent is set in the lease agreement while utilities are calculated on monthly basis by meter readings and statements. Payment can be done by bank trasfer whether you pay rent or utility. But applicable bank charges need to be added on top of rent and utility payments. Penalties due to late payment can be addressed in particular situations.

REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT - Based on rent and utilities Refundable security deposit set in HUF and collected before apartment with keys handed over to Tenant. Further, refund of security deposit taken place when lease expired and tenant hands over rented apartment with keys in excellent condition. Securtiy deposit can be collected and sent via bank transfer or in cash. It is good to know that rent and utility payments can not be arranged by security deposit.

Tenants need to pay rent and utilities on monthly basis and they do not have the right to use their deposit up before lease expired.
